Event
Annual Company Conference with partners. Due to the nature of
the business Redland held their event at the weekend, this enabled partners
to attend and get a n insight into the company and its culture. The event
included a main conference, partners activity as well as dinner with
entertainment and overnight.
Venue
Redland always liked to do things a bit differently and so Comtec
sourced the Imagination Theatre in Legoland, Windsor as the venue for
the conference. The Gala Dinner was held at the Sheraton Skyline Heathrow.
Objective
To get important messages to the Redland staff and their partners,
in a fun way whilst using the opportunity to team build at the same time.
Logistics
Comtec were asked manage the entire event, including theming,
logistics, invitations, content and entertainment as well as a partners
programme.
Conference
The Imagination Theatre was transformed with specialist lighting,
video projection a live band and a custom made set into a game show production
called ‘Up For It’. Team leaders were appointed to encouraged
their teams to get involved right from the moment they arrived ….they
didn’t need much encouragement!!. Keith Chegwin was brought in
to host the event and provided a humorous link between the various activities
throughout the day. The event proved to be exciting, challenging and
ultimately memorable. Everyone from Sales staff, Factory workers, Managers
and Directors alike joined in to enable an excellent team building situation.
